NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS
IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A PODIATRIST BEFORE YOU MAY HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT IS INVOLVED.
New patient appointments can be easily arranged by phoning 01204 361463 where our receptionists will be happy to chat to you and find a suitable appointment. They may also ask you for the reason you are visiting the clinic. You can also book online by clicking the 'book now' tab on this website, this will take you directly to our online diary were you will be able to book an appointment that is convenient for you.

A Podiatrist (Chiropodist is the alternative UK term) can treat the lower limb with particular relevance to the foot.

You do not need a referral from any other health professional to book an appointment.
NEW PATIENT REGISTRATION
When you attend you will need to register as a new patient to the clinic and your basic details will be taken. This includes your full name, address, telephone number, date of birth and email address.
When you consult with the Podiatrist he will ask you for more details regarding your general health, medication and past medical history; this will help us to tailor your treatment to your individual needs.
You will then be asked to remove you shoes, socks and hosiery. If you are attending for one of our extended postural assessments such as our biomechanical assessment you will be asked to change into more suitable clothing such as shorts or leggings and a t- shirt (in the privacy of a treatment room).
In most cases the Podiatrist will assess your feet and discuss any issues, as well as provide any necessary treatment. If further treatment is required then a quote of the cost of the work needed will be given before any further action is taken.
Following treatment, verbal and written aftercare instructions may be given in order to help you keep your feet in optimal health.

We are very aware that your first visit may be very stressful and we will always make every attempt to make you feel relaxed and comfortable.
Within a few days of your visit you may receive a patient satisfaction survey by text or email. Please take the time to fill this in as it helps us to maintain our high level of service.

Our goal is to provide patients with highest quality chiropody care in a comfortable, relaxed and friendly environment.
